Editing Your Book Details

In this article, we will show you how to edit your book details in Atticus.

Step 1: Open Your Book in Atticus

Once in Atticus, go ahead and click on the project you would like to work on. This will open your project in Writing Mode.

Step 2: Open the Details Window

In the left hand column, click on the edit icon located next to your book title and author name.

Step 3: Editing Your Details

In the top section of the details window, you will be able to upload your Book Cover, make changes to your Title and Subtitle, add or change your Author Name, and enter a Project Name, if your book is part of a series.

You can also choose to create a Custom Table of Contents Title. This will replace the automated page title and is especially useful if your book is in a language other than English.

In the next section, you can choose the language of your book from the dropdown menu, and add your Print ISBN and EBook ISBN.

NOTE:

Online stores don’t require an ISBN to list an ebook, so this field is optional. If you do acquire an ISBN for your ebook, however, you can list it here and the ISBN will be included in your ebook’s metadata.

The final section of the Details Window will allow you to add a Publisher Logo, Publisher Name, and a Publisher Link.

This is also where you can export your ePub and PDF files of your book.

Atticus will automatically save all your newly added information. And to exit the Details Window, simply click any item in the menu in the left column.
